In this prize draw, you accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions, then you should not take part in the prize draw. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the Terms and Conditions before entering the prize draw. We, JD Sports Fashion plc (“JD Sports”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference during the prize draw. JD Sports is the promoter of this prize draw.
This prize draw is not affiliated or endorsed with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or Snapchat.
1. What can you win?
There will be ten (10) winners. Each winner who is a resident of Ireland will receive one (1) €100 physical JD Sports Gift Card, and each winner who is a resident of the United Kingdom will receive one (1) £100 JD Sports eGift Card (the “Prize”).
The Prize is subject to availability. The Prize may not be exchanged for a cash value, nor is it transferable. The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports has been able to contact winners and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports has the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.
2. What is excluded from the Prize?
The Prize is valid for UK and Ireland residents only. It is the winner’s responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize.
3. Who can enter
Entrants must be:
- aged 18 years or over;
- Be a resident of England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, or Northern Ireland; and
- opted-in to receiving email and/or push notification communications from JD Sports.
(together, the “Eligibility Criteria”).
JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winner to provide such information as JD reasonably requires in order to verify that the Eligibility Criteria has been met such as valid ID (such as a current passport or driver’s license) for proof of age. Employees, directors, and contractors (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports group (http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx), or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw are not eligible to enter the prize draw. JD Sports reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.
4. How to enter
Entrants can enter the prize draw by completing the following steps:
- Purchase Requirement: Purchase at least one (1) product from the Back to School collection via the JD Sports App; and
- Entry Form Submission: After making a qualifying purchase, entrants must complete the prize draw entry form. A link to this form will be sent via email, push notification, and in the JD Sports App “My Messages” inbox to users who have opted in to receive JD Sports marketing and/or push notification communications.
Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet. A purchase on the JD App is required to have the chance to enter.
Participation is limited to one entry per person only. If more than one such entry is received including through the use of multiple accounts with the same user details, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.
5. Closing Times
The prize draw will commence on Monday 14th July 2025 at 12:00am (BST) and will end on Monday 1st September 2025 at 11:59pm (BST). Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid.
6. How are winners selected?
The winners will be picked at random from all the submissions that are received using a random winner generator. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves). The winners will be notified via email of their win. The winner is then expected to respond to the email to confirm acceptance of their win. If a response is not received within 48 hours then we will attempt to contact them by telephone. If we are unable to contact the winner within 24 hours of the first telephone communication then a new winner will be drawn. JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winner (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winner will does not confirm receipt of their win via email or telephone.
7. Winners’ Responsibilities
It is the winner’s responsibility to:
- ensure they provide accurate information when entering the draw;
- complete all stages of the How to enter section above and present evidence of such completion to a member of staff if asked;
- provide accurate contact details;
- provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the prize draw;
- adhere to local laws in the UK and Ireland; and
- Rcomply with any rules, instructions, requirements, Terms and Conditions or regulations of the event organiser.
JD Sports will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
The winner’s use of the Prize must be in accordance with the following additional Terms and Conditions:
- section 14 in www.jdsports.co.uk/customer-service/terms/ (for UK winners); and
- https://www.jdsports.ie/customer-service/terms/ (for Irish winners).
8. Personal information
By ticking the appropriate opt-in boxes, you agree that you will receive regular communication from JD Sports (and its affiliates). JD Sports will use personal information which you provide, or which we obtain through our dealings with you, to sign you up to marketing materials provided by JD Sports (and its affiliates) and to administer the prize draw. We may also use your personal data to tell you about JD Sports (and JD Sports affiliates) products and offers, and for market research including analysis and development of our products and customer relationships. 9. Publicity
By taking part in the prize draw, entrants may be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request if they are a winner of the prize draw. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the entrants’ consent.
JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these Terms and Conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.
10. Which law applies to this promotion?
This prize draw is governed by the law of England and Wales and the participants of the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
