The brand changed the game in ‘34, introducing collegiate-style clothing as we know it today. Champion created sweatshirts and tees adorned with University of Michigan detailing, dubbed the birth of collegiate apparel, along with designing the first ever hooded sweatshirt.

The brand firmly established itself as a legendary sportswear staple in the ‘90s, when Champion produced uniforms for all NBA teams, as well as manufacturing uniforms for the 1992 Olympic basketball team.
