110s Activation in Liverpool - Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

By taking part in this promotion, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions then you should not take part in the promotion. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the terms and conditions before entering the promotion. JD Sports Fashion plc (“JD”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the promotion. JD is the promoter of this promotion which is run in conjunction with Nike Retail UK (company number BR003350) at 4 Handyside Street, London, N1C 4DJ.

1. What can you win?

There will be three (3) winners who will each win one (1) pair of 110s trainers (Air Max 95s) (the “Prize“). The Prize is subject to availability (including availability of sizes, styles and colours). The Prize is subject to JD being able to confirm eligibility. JD has the right to change, alter or withdraw the promotion or the Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD. JD shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize. The Prize is personal to the winner. The Prize is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange. JD reserves the right to cancel the promotion and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

If delivery of the Prize is required, JD will arrange for delivery to one UK address. It is the winners’ responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must be:

• aged 18 years or over on the date of entry;
• a resident of England, Scotland or Wales; and
• available to attend at the Event.

JD reserves the right to ask for proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD group (http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx), or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion. JD reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.

4. How to enter

The promotion starts on Sunday 13th October 2024 at 10:00am (UK time) and ends at 12:00pm (UK time) (the “Event”). Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid. Entrants can enter the promotion by:- 1) attending the Event; 2) failing to purchase a pair of 110s trainers (Air Max 95s) as a result of queue position; and 3) correctly answering three (3) questions asked by a member of JD by way of interview. Entrants will be selected at random for an interview which will be videoed. No purchase is necessary to enter the promotion. Participation is limited to one entry per person only. If more than one entry is received, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

5. How are the winners selected?

The winners will be the first three (3) entrants to correctly answer all three (3) questions during the interview conducted by a member of JD. The interviewer will confirm at the end of the interview whether or not the entrants have successfully answered the three (3) questions. The decision of JD is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves). In the event that the winners do not communicate their acceptance of the Prize by the time the Event ends, the winners forfeits, and will be considered to have waived their right to, the Prize and JD Sports is under no obligation to, and shall not, select another winner.

6. Winners’ Responsibilities

It is the winners’ responsibility to: (i) complete all stages of the How to enter section above; (ii) provide accurate contact details and shoe size if requested; (iii) provide valid proof of age; and (iv) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize, including travel to and from the 110s Activation. JD will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

The winners’ personal data may be used to notify and communicate with them in relation to the Prize and for JD to comply with its obligation to publish the name and county of residence of winners.

8. Publicity

The interview will be videoed on camera and by taking part in the promotion, the Entrants will be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request. The Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their interview relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the Entrants’ consent. JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if the winners breach any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

9. Which law applies to this promotion?

This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the participants of the promotion submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
